When you start to look old and move like an old man. When you lose your curiosity and passion. When you give up on your standards for yourself. It's different for everyone. The amazing thing I've seen as I've aged is the amazing difference in the rate at which people can age. Most of it (I think) is life choices but genetics also play a role. Smoking, alcohol, basic nutrition, exercise, fitness, and general activity level. How well you dress and how well groomed you keep yourself. How much you stimulate your mind.
I know guys in their mid 30's who look 50 and guys in their 50's who are in better shape and better looking than guys in their 30's. People have told me, "you don't move like a guy your age", LOL. I have no idea what they were expecting but yeah, I don't feel that much different from my 25 year old self. Am I old? Not in my mind. Not yet, LOL.

I'm a little older than you and agree with almost everything you say. One small quibble, you may feel like you're 25, but your body knows better. Everybody gets older, getting "Old" is a choice. I do some things slower than I did at 25, but once you decide you're "too old" pretty soon, you are.

Same as woman. Age is a state of mind. My mother was the type of person all ages lit to. She was a bright light and didn't judge anyone. When someone has that gift, they are never old. Never discarded.
Flip. Unless dementia hits. Then you no longer matter in some cultures.

There isn't a single, universally agreed-upon age that defines when a man is considered "old." However, most people perceive the start of old age to be around the mid-70s. Historically, the perception of when old age begins has shifted, with some older studies suggesting it starts closer to 60. Various factors like individual health, lifestyle, and cultural perspectives also play a significant role in determining when someone is considered "old".
Here's a more detailed breakdown:
General perception: Studies suggest that people generally perceive old age to begin around 75.
Historical perspective: In the past, the threshold for old age was often placed around 60.
Individual differences: People age at different rates, and what one person considers old may not be the same for another. Some people may feel and appear older or younger than their chronological age due to lifestyle and health choices.
Cultural differences: Different cultures have varying perspectives on aging and what it means to be "old".
Perceived onset of old age: Research from the American Psychological Association indicates that people perceive the onset of old age as increasing as they themselves get older. For example, people in their 60s might perceive old age as starting around 75, while those in their 70s might perceive it starting closer to 77-10000 Reply 6.8K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. Most men don't grow out of their immature bullshit until they are at least 30, if you're lucky, and even there some never grow up. Some of the most immature men I know in real life and online are 45+ years old.
So going by that, men are not old until they are elderly and living in an aged-care facility.

Most men don't become mature adults you could consider marraige material until they are 30. Even my husband today can be so immature and he's 33.

I mean, it still depends. Like, if I'm in class and I'm chatting to my classmates and they tell me they're like a decade older than me, then I'd be surprised. But like, just going around town where you see all sorts of people then I probably wouldn't be surprised unless they were 80 or 90 and only then because many people aren't even capable of leaving their houses on their own at that age. I think it really is contextual based on what ages you expect you encounter in whatever specific place you're in.

I'd say above 60. But some men get to their 40s and already look finished.

I think it varies. I know guys over 60 who seem young nd active and guys of 30 who seem like old men.

It is all relative. 25 could be considered old to an 18 year old.
