What do men do to appear more masculine in front of attractive women?

I am a man, and I don't really know if I do this, but women have said that men do this.

Conversely, women definitely try to appear more feminine.

In reality, I haven't observed men trying to appear more masculine to seduce women. I have seen them using humor, tease and taunt to catch attention. Targeting other men in a sort of subtle competition using wit. Or targeting women themselves to trigger an emotional response.

But that's my cultural context though, I didn't evolve in supermachoman surroundings. In fact the supermachoman profile was an easy target to mock and take down figuratively, in order to get women's attention.

I ignore them, LOL. Oddly enough, this often has the opposite of the desired effect. They get really curious about me and go out of their way to strike up a conversation with me. Seriously, I don't think they're used to a guy who isn't irrationally nice to them or trying to chat them up.

If they ask me to move down a seat or two so their friends can sit, I have zero problem saying no. You'd think they'd just label me an asshole but no, wait 5 minutes and they're trying to chat me up.

No, that's not true. I don't try to appear feminine. In fact I try to be/appear more tough yet I come across as feminine.

You asked what can do to appear more masculine. I'd say I find men more masculine when they don't try to be one. Guys like that have a certain type of posture and have a muscular body. Most of them have facial hair. They come across as quite confident and assertive. Takes initiative when needed basically have leadership qualities.

It's how they treat those around them. Respect is really attractive. Probably for both genders. Everyone wants to be heard and held with some value.

I'm mainly thinking of really immature guys, but trying to one up other guys in front of women. Trying to be the "alpha" male. Trying to act like almost a cartoonish caricature of masculinity in general. That kind of stuff.
