Why do some men don’t have standards?

I used to be friends with benefits with guy who was very attractive. We started off as something serious but something about me made him change his mind. He knew he was attractive but he was constantly calling me ugly in fights and after called me it all the time when we stopped seeing each other. He would say things like I’m just a booty call or I wasn’t that pretty and he could get much better girls but still wouldn’t leave me alone. Well I haven’t seen him in two years and a mugshot of him went viral in our state and all the girls are drooling over him. Most of the girls are pretty and it confuses me why he didn’t just entertain girls in his league or who he thought was attractive instead of me. It’s clear he had better options.

Because for a lot of men, sex is just sex. I remember in my small town there was this dude who looked just like Chad Michael Murray in his prime and since he was so beautiful he had tons of options. Yet he never settled down until his 30s. Not all of the women he had sex with were in his league. There was a point after high school that my (ex) best friend and I would run into him and his friends at the bar. She brought her cousin out with us one night who had such a hatchet face but her body was nice since she danced her whole life. She was all over him one night and in that same night they had sex in a hotel bathroom in the after-bar hangout. I couldn’t believe he wanted this woman with crooked yellow teeth, pothole pores, big hook nose. Yet there they were.

I don't know if you’ve ever looked at things from this perspective but here’s a friendly reminder: not every woman is going to have your experience. Just because he made YOU feel as though he was such a prize and you had to do backflips to get him does not mean the next woman was dealing with that bullshit. This dude treated you pretty crappy. Like if you ask me there wouldn’t have been any other booty call after the first time he disrespected me, but for you there was. I am not the only woman who would have that boundary.

I think you mean homeless men don’t have standards. Because I have plenty of standards however I only have three standing rules. (1) Don’t touch my guitars (2) Don’t fuck with any of my cars, truck or bike. (3) If you use one of my tools, put them back.
