A guy liking his ex's pictures on Instagram?

Does it mean anything. The guy also abruptly stopped talking to me almost a week ago and it's been crickets since. Then I checked his most recent ex (I was worried they're still together and he was lying) they still follow each other and he liked her most recent post? Does it mean anything. Should I block him 😅I honestly don't know what to do but I don't have a good feeling.

Oh we have been talking for a few weeks and he made some moves like wanting to face time me etc. It got quite intense and romantic quickly. But now I'm wondering if he is still with her or has feelings for her.

Personally, I'd deal with this situation by disregarding and disconnecting from any social media activity from them I have access to. In order to simplify things. If a romantic dynamic changed from daily interactions to a week of unannounced absence then there's a blatant issue. It can be between us or not. And I'm going to ask them if they're sick, in sudden vacation or dead lol. Simpler things, simpler life. If I get no news, then it's exactly what already happened before internet: People sometimes leave the scene for no reason at all, even if they showed interest. That sucks, but that's not uncommon now and it wasn't uncommon back then.

He came back after three weeks. I said where have you been? And he said he moved out of his apartment because of mould.

However, I noticed his 'ex'(?) also wrote a post last week saying there was a problem with her living situation and it was being sorted out slowly.

I didn't communicate when he ghosted for three weeks. I left it because I thought it wasn't worth it.

And it's just weird because the girl he was with or could still be with (?) they have no pics on Instagram together. So I thought maybe they broke up. But now this happened and I'm suspicious. 🤣

Oh I really don't mean for that, no, I haven't changed since our first talks about psychosis :)
But what can happen is that, since I know you quite enough by now, your reactions, I have a set image of how you function. So I might come up with more force, and more hmmm poking fun than what I'd do with a total stranger. That part you might interpret it as criticism but, to me, it's simply that the more I know you, then the more I get more informal lol

Yes could be on and off again. I noticed she deleted their posts of a podcast they did but he kept them all up on his page. My feeling is he's still attached to her maybe. Anyway, not worth it

@Lalalove11 oh definitely move on. He made a PODCAST with her lol he probably finds her attractive in more ways than one and they talk really well… and everything is on the table with that thought: small talk, chemistry, good flirting.

If they’re on that wavelength and he also likes any visual posts of her on socials… they probably would be on and off. If they’re didn’t link up again, then it’d probably be an on/off thing/situationship for a bit of time.

@Rosexøxø they were together a long time I think. They made a podcast last year. She deleted signs of it on her insta but he kept it all up on his which makes me feel like he still has feelings. But I can see it's only her most recent post he liked. The one's before that he didn't. So the timing was concerning. Stops talking to me, suddenly likes her newest post (which is a pic of work she does)

It’s possible it was one sided before, but even if not it seems it could be one sided now. If it was mutual I’d feel they’d be doing dms and hangouts. If he’s liking and even commenting and she’s not responding that just seems like he’s reaching out to her in some ways and she’s not reaching out to him.

@Rosexøxø he hasn't posted since last year. I guess I freaked out cos it's happened me before with guys lying about their relationship status which would be worst case scenario here. As far as I can tell he's pivoted his attention to her and I can't tell if she is reciprocating. Either way I'd rather leave it as I don't want to push any further especially if he's not choosing me or he isn't over her etc.
