Guys, What makes a gal "amazing" to you?

I guy I know is always calling me amazing and going all glassy-eyed. (I don't flinch when he says it bc I can't tell if he's being sincere or sarcastic; we barely ever speak directly, however whenever he's around me or talking to anyone about me he says it precisely that way.) I've grown a tough skin about it bc it seems to be just a reflex for him to gush and go on (the way he has seen other people do). Honestly, I don't know what specifically would qualify me as "amazing" to him or to anyone, frankly. I'm just another gal living her life, you know?

Anyhow, so putting the question out there: What would prompt you to consider a gal "amazing"?

Women like that are far rarer than they should be. But when some men find them, they simp way too hard. As a comedian once said, "Men want to understand women. While women do understand other women and they hate each other."

My exes. The first one was like just a breath of fresh air. No matter how worked up I was, one glance upon her and I used to gt de-stressed instantly. Such was her charm and personality

Makes sense. There's a certain attraction in some women that makes a guy forget everything else. Some have it in their eyes, some got that million dollar smile, some have that absolutely cute face and some have that flawless body

I think if it's a lie it would ultimately come out in the wash. I have a feeling this fellow is just reacting to what he hears from other people. I've no idea what I particularly said or did to him to be deemed "amazing". Perhaps compared to other gals he knows I *do* have my life together. Who knows? I'd be more likely to believe someone who calls me a "tough cookie" (which he also does).

sometimes girls have a way of just doing things that surprise me. They could be extra nice to me when they did not have to be, or they could suddenly show some unexpected talent. Of course there is always the fact that they show up for me every single day.

Nope. Never have. Never had a girlfriend who cooked either. So there is that. One claimed she could. Not that I ever experienced anything more than reheated leftovers in the microwave through her.

Whaaat? My goodness. I mean, I'm not Julia Child by any stretch, but a fresh eggs, sausage and toast breakfast or simple grilled chicken isn't rocket science. Even a bowl of cereal/granola with milk and juice (my earlier iterations of B-I-B for my mom) would have been at least a cute attempt.

Even my kids knew to surprise me with a morning coffee on my bday and special occasions. My son still does remember to, lol.

Yeah, never experienced any of that. Come to think of it, I have never had breakfast in bed ever. Definitely not from any girlfriend. One baked box muffins once. That and the reheated in the microwave leftovers have been my two only ‘meals’ ever prepared by a girlfriend’s hands.
