Should I report my soon to be ex husband for not washing his hands after using the bathroom at his pharmacy tech job?

Towards the end of our relationship, I asked my husband (who I had to regularly remind to wash his hands after using the restroom at home) if he remembered to wash his hands before returning to work. He initially said “yes” but said it with his fibbing tone, so I pressed further and asked him again. He admitted that he didn’t “wash” his hands but would return to the counter after using the bathroom and use hand sanitizer instead (even for stools). I have been debating telling his place of work because we couldn’t afford to lose income… he’s recently been put on probation due to making very young women and late teen girls (all coworkers) uncomfortable… I don’t want to ruin his ability to hold a job as that would be shitty of me to do given I’m leaving him… but I feel like his boss ought to know or reeducate him and have thought it the whole time… what should I do?

I should mention that I did tell him that was very much not okay and he just shrugged it off as me “nagging” him.

Don’t report him. Not only would it become a “he said / she said” drama but the manager would have to believe you and somehow catch him in the act. Best to let it go and trust their pharmacy has safety policies in place.

I suggest letting his employer handle the situation. After you are divorced and permanently away from him, consider reporting him anonymously then.

It's not dangerous enough for you to get involved. He likely doesn't handle medication at all -- it's all automated. Congratulations on your divorce.

I’m not trying to be… I just don’t want people getting sick because he isn’t washing his hands…. Maybe if I didn’t use a name and just asked the pharmacy to reeducate their employees on hand washing after restroom use?
