I know this guy that flirts with me when his girl isn’t around, he is touchy feely but then he brings her around sometimes. The other day when we were all at the same place, when she was talking to other friends he came up to where I was but I totally ignored him and didn’t give any contact and he eventually walked off. I’m sure he hasn’t told her how he flirts with me at times. If he really likes her why does he flirt with me? I just don’t understand why guys flirt when they already have someone

Girls, why do you see ANY contact with a guy as flirting? I don't understand why two people can't just have a casual conversation unless it's supposedly about sex! Why is it not flirting if I'm having the same conversation with another guy? I've had several female bass players in my band. Just because I'm TALKING to her anywhere but on stage doesn't mean I'm flirting with her.
But, maybe it's because he feels so very confident in his relationship that this so-called, "flirting" WON'T lure him away from the woman he loves. I've seen loads of women like that, too!! They're VERY MUCH involved with someone but will still talk "flirtingly" with other guys, even hug or kiss them.

I've met a number of women that were steady with a guy and still didn't mind a guy friend playfully (pretend) flirt with her. They both knew it's play and that nothing's gonna happen between them.
I once had a boss that flirted with me from time to time even though we weren't gay and he was married. He was just having a bit of fun!
