So there’s this guy I know from college , we’re not in the same class, but I usually see him in the hallway. I used to look at him and send subtle signals that I’m interested, and I noticed he started noticing me too. Still, he never approached me.

One day, I decided to take the initiative to break the ice. I had a bottle in my hand and pretended I couldn’t open it, so I asked him for help. He laughed and looked at me , and I just thanked him and left. I thought maybe he would continue the conversation or make the next move and talk to me, but he didn’t.

Since then, I decided to ignore him, because he wasn’t making any effort. But I’ve noticed he tries to be around me and get my attention, yet he never actually comes to talk to me.

What do you think is going on here?

I think your attempt to break the ice/talk to him went about as well as it sounded. So, you are expecting him to make a move even though it's not for certain that he is even interested? Do you ever talk to him?

Do you think he is seeing someone else? Maybe he is nervous or still new to relationships? I would ask him out to grab a cup of coffee or go for a walk with him. I think you need to take the initiative here and see where it goes? Ur thoughts?

I’ve had the same one but believe me this type of men are really tiring. He would even stare at me but do anything to make a move. So, never mind

It sounds like he could just be shy and terrible with women. Just approach him and give him your number or something. Make your intentions very clear.
