Advice with guys?

Recently, I was on FaceTime with my friend Sam, and his best friend Omar was also there. I used to like Sam last year (he’s aware), but lately I’ve been giving him the cold shoulder. While we were on the call, me and Omar started flirting. Sam kept interrupting and insulting me, calling me obsessive and a stalker, like he wanted Omar to stop talking to me. My friends were also on the call but left because they felt like they were interrupting me and Omar. At one point, Omar asked Sam to play romantic music, but Sam suddenly snatched the phone and ended the call. When Sam joined again later from home, he acted completely normal with me. Sam and Omar were both kinda high. Why did he end the call, and insulting me?


I asked my friend to get Omar’s number for me, and she messaged Sam about it. He told her that he already asked Omar and Omar said “nah.” But we all feel like Sam might be lying. Later, my friend asked Sam if he and Omar would want to go on a double date — Sam with her, and me with Omar — and Sam said alright, and that Omar would probably be down. It’s weird because if Sam actually asked Omar for my number and Omar really wasn’t interested, why would Sam now say Omar would probably be down to go out? It doesn’t add up, so I feel like Sam isn’t being honest. Sam now doesn’t really like me. Was he lying?

He has a problem with being around me, he didn’t want to join a call because I was there. I think he doesn’t like me as he thinks I’m obsessive. But I don’t even talk or look at him, I’ve been giving him the cold shoulder for a few weeks now.


Overall, Sam is very egotistical, and last year he flirted a lot with me even though he had a girlfriend. He also said a lot of sexual things to me before, which makes his behavior now even more confusing. So I don’t know what he’s thinking when it comes to me.
