We’re not close enough to like each other’s stories, and it was my pic story. If he liked the music, he could’ve just saved it.

In life I always say if you never try you will never know & in life I rather try & fail rather than not try at all. As for matters of the heart the heart wants what the heart wants & sometimes the heart can’t always have what it truly desires & sometimes hearts do get broken. As for the guy that you confessed to if he is one of your followers he’s allowed to view your stories & he is allowed to like your photos or things that you post.

Do something when you were with him and you confessed it

If you did something before being involved with him , that's only your business

Because now he will judge you on what kind of person you are and that's not going to end well

If you did something while you were with him and course it's gonna be the same thing

Sorry, let me clarify. I said where’s the correlation between the scenario you presented, and what YOU have going on. This guy isn’t your boyfriend, he isn’t liking a bunch of your pictures and stories. He viewed your story quickly and liked one selfie, which to me is a basic functionality and not something prominent.

I feel like those are two separate questions. I think that a man in a committed relationship specifically going to like every girls selfie has less to do with basic functionalities and everything to do with him being shady and shitty.

A basic functionality to me is viewing anyone’s stories and liking their pictures. Are you essentially saying that this guy is going and liking not only yours but several other women’s selfies? Because that would be more of a correlation. He just liked one picture of yours and viewed your story, as he could be doing with other friends or family of both genders. There’s just no significance to this so I’m not sure what’s the purpose in pointing it out, I personally don’t think social media behavior is usually that deep. Has he never interacted with your content before? Because then I’d assume that he’s just trying to smooth things over after rejecting you. He viewed your story, saw it was a selfie and liked it. To me that’s just being nice.

@HollyK21 Yeah, but he literally blocked me on the dating app right after I texted him. So if he was just trying to be nice, liking my selfie story seems like a weird way to do that. Also, after rejecting me, he was totally avoiding my content I even thought he had blocked or unfollowed me. But no, and then one day he suddenly started viewing all my stories super fast and now he’s liking my story selfie. We weren’t even friends who liked each other’s stories we barely know each other.

Tbh I feel like it makes a lot of sense for him to block you in a place meant to matchmake and advance your romantic relationship. You were trying to message him as if it’s a text message and that’s not what he’s interested in. I’m also sure he didn’t wanna give you the wrong impression further because of a dating apps intention.

Anyway, I don’t want to do much more back and forth because you seem to be very adamant about the idea that there’s some sort of deeper meaning to him viewing your stories and liking a picture. You must’ve really liked him a lot and have your ego wounded or something to be doing all this. And while I’m sure you’ll give me some defensive version of “no that’s not it, I’m just trying to understand because it doesn’t make sense”, which it’s simultaneously making ALL the sense.

In any case if he wanted to retract the rejection, he would do so and hasn’t. Which is OK, sometimes your crush doesn’t like you back. You can keep searching for some deeper meaning but if I were you I’d just move the hell on. Back when I used social media I’d have men who it didn’t work out with view my stories, like pictures and all that in a heartbeat. I didn’t put any excess thought behind it all because at the end of the day, those actions do not change how we chose for things to end. I don’t accept new developments in the form of guessing games, overthinking lengthy deciphers. I wouldn’t put any weight behind anything that isn’t blatant proof. For example, liking several of your selfies at once and commenting on them with heart eyes, hearts, kissy face emojis, shit like that. Orrrr, him just directly DMing you trying to chat. He can easily do that but I’m sure you’d justify why he isn’t with some sort of shyness or ego BS. I’d actually block or delete him already but that’s just me.
