Okay, I'm going to even lie but I never dated before because I was too antisocial. But have grown to be more social. But this guy at work was an intern and started working with our company. It gets very busy so sometimes I can't get hints. And it could be me. But he has commented on my hair and perfume. We even were even talking, and since he goes to different stores, he was sort of going out of town and he said I should come. And that we should see a movie sometime! I'm crazy? But I don't want like be awkward cause he is such a great guy friend! Please I would love some advice. 😭

Update- I saw him at work again yesterday. And he said hi, how are you. Usual conversation. But then he said he was thinking about me. Am I still going crazy?

It is obvious that this guy has a crush on you. Be careful because those kind of one-sided infatuations seldom lead to something positive.

The problem also lies in the fact that if you are dating a co-worker, this may cause problems at your workplace. Among the possible issues you would be faced are jealousy and favoritism. One never dates a co-worker as it is unhealthy in a work place to prioritize a relationship over the work that you are assigned to do.

Clearly, this guy's aim is ultimately to get into your pants and when he has done what he came to do, you will simply be left to wonder what happened. An intern is by definition someone that comes for a short period of time and then disappears again.

He will disappear from your life just as quickly as he appeared.

He's interested whether in a hookup or in dating you, I'm not sure. Would need more context... but if you ask me, I'd say don't date someone you work with because if things don't work out and it could get really awkward.

Thank you so much for the advice. Well, in dating. And don't think it would too. Cause he doesn't work at just my building and not that often. He floats around the other buildings we have in the state. Plus i was thinking about changing jobs. Which made me feel like it was a good time to ask him out. Because of course I like him too. But waiting a little while because I really don't know if I would like me like that. But at least if I try I'm leaving. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Yes, he is also single. We are both in our 20's, 24 and 27. I would, I guess I just was shy. My thoughts, I like him too, but I just didn't want to press anything. If I can keep the current relationship I have with now. But at the same time I would like to really date him.

Stay friends with him.. maybe follow him on socials? Instead of a fromal date maybe ask him to go out and grab a cup of coffee or something.
