Guys, Why do all the guys I date control me?

I am 22 a female and like 5‘3 I don’t look like my age a little younger… so when I date guys my I age or older they get really possessive about anything I do, I literally feel like a child sometimes. One guy even said that I should stop giggling because it sounds childish but he is right next to me not letting me go? (I’ve heard worse & weird sht) they hate me in a way it’s funny in a way explain please in the most harsh way i need a reality check!
