Is it common for popular guys to go after the unknown/unpopular girlies?

All my life I’ve never been popular. I’m very shy , introverted, and don’t like attention that much. But for some reason “popular”/“known” people always gravitate towards me, even when I’m not even really doing anything to attract anyone lol. Even in high school, all my girl friends were popular , and all the guys that tried to talk to me were to, i just wasn’t. All the way up until now. Why these people always go after me? When all the other girls throw themselves at these type of guys?

Because some guys’ want to be with a girl that isn’t an attention seeker , that doesn’t really put herself out there per say, because he doesn’t want to feel like he has competition from other men , he feels safer with a girl that keeps to herself and he considers her innocent sweet and kind , which is a good thing. especially for a relationship. Girls’ that are attention seekers usually can’t be trusted because their intentions is to attract as many people they can , thinking they are the shit. She might be good looking and beautiful, but most guys’ will not trust her for a relationship.

Ok i have a circle of like 5 friends right now? But those are the ONLY friends i have. But my 5 friends , each have a TON of other friends …. Therefore, they are popular , and I’m not. U follow?

These people have tons of options to “have sex” with. That’s my whole point. And I’m not unattractive … I’m just not popular, by choice. Clearly if i mind my business and try not to be seen, but people gravitate me towards me anyway, i have the potential to be, i just don’t want to. That’s why im confused, because why go after me? When all the “better” options are going after you?

I appoligize for my oversight. I failed to pay attention thought I was responding to a guy. Typically, it is guys who get friend zoned, not females. Guys within and slightly above your league, will go after you regardless if you are seeking attention.

Yeah it's an easier lay because they get wooed because they are getting attention from out of their league. Females often mistake being used for sex as being in the same league
