My experience is the inverse- girls hog the covers and wrap them up over her.

So the cold wakes me up. This forces me to put my knee in her back and pull to get my fair share.

Also girls have this habit of sleeping diagonally in the bed to take up more space. Very annoying.

I keep my AC going at the lowest possible, which is 60F or 16C... during the winter, I don't do any heating, lol

but, I only do this when I am on my own and only on my own, lol... with the girlfriend on board, I would just let her set it up at whatever she liked or wanted, I didn't mind at all as long as it was cool

but I'm down here in Hellish, Texas where the temps are often around 110F during the summers... lol

Blame biology, not men.

Male and female bodies retain heat differently. Women tend to keep their heat near their core, to protect their abdomen and uterus. This leaves the extremities more susceptible to the cold, which makes you feel colder, overall. That's why women's feet are always ice cold when they touch us with them.

Men keep a more even temperature throughout our bodies, which includes our limbs, so we don't feel the cold quite as acutely as women do. Naturally, we like to keep the temperature lower, because that's where we feel most comfortable.

It's also an unfortunate reality that it's easier to warm up, by using multiple blankets and/or layers, than it is to cool off. I'm not saying it's right, or fair, but you can always steal the blankets, but once we're naked, we can't cool off any more, so we'd still be hot.

It sucks, but one way or the other, someone ends up suffering. 😔

It's easier to put more clothes on to stay warm. My dad worked at a news station and all the women complained there also, because they would wear thin sleeveless dresses but the guys has to wear suits, so they were always hot and would turn the temp down, then the girls were all cold.

My girlfriend loves to put her icy cold hands, feet, and face on me when we get in bed. It takes about 15 minutes to get her back up to human temperature during the winter. We suffer too!
