If a guy wanted children but couldn’t with a certain girl would he leave her for someone who could?

There’s a guy I know in his late 30s recently divorced because he and his wife couldn’t have children for one reason or another.

He seemed to really like my friend who’s older early 40s (I’d say love her), but he said he really wants children and she’s unlikely to be able to provide that.

So he’s recently met a younger girl 30, who he likes but seems less keen on (compared to my friend), but willing to pursue a relationship because he wants kids.

So how common is that…Would you compromise love with one girl for the sake of having children with another?

If i want children than i'll search for a woman who can give me babies but if i have loved a woman and married her, than later it turns out that she couldn't get pregnant than NO i will never leave her for the sake of children because i promised her and promised god to love her and take care of her forever, so i will enioy my time with her till the end, in the end kids comes and goes, a wife stays, i married my wife not my kids, if you know what i mean...

It's just my opinion, sadly my life didn't work the way i've dreamed because i have married a girl who isen't meant for me so it ended up in divorce, ofc she's the one who filed for divorce since i don't believe on divorce, c'est la vie 🤷🏻‍♂️

If I found a woman that seemed perfect in every way except she couldn't have kids, I would stick with her and just forget about having kids. It's not that important. I don't need some kind of legacy to jerk off my ego, and I don't have a bunch of shit for a kid to inherit. This guy sounds like an idiot.

Women are interchangeable for men at the subconscious level. He’ll leave if he can’t get the exact thing he wants but only after he’s found someone new to pursue it with, he’ll hold on to the first one until that moment even if he’s unhappy.
