I have had a "wing woman" in my past, but that was not the reason I was her friend. I was her friend cause we had known each other and we were friends since we were in 2nd grade, we bonded over "teenage mutant ninja turtles"

  It's literally a request from all my creepy male acquaintances. "Hey, lmk if there are any nice-looking single gals coming." or "Hey, go talk to that gal for me and find out her name." When a guy asks this sort of thing I feel a wave of nausea and tend not to speak to them again.

Never. In my opinion, that's a disgusting thing to do. I would never be so manipulative. If I'm friends with you, it's because I like your character. Plain and simple. I don't care about the person's social circle or the opportunities they can give me. All I care about is that I get along with them.

  Technically, in the instance I’m talking about there wasn’t any risk of leading the pawn on, but it’s disrespectful in my opinion for a guy to treat a gal like a pawn to get to another gal.
