We do say what's on our mind. Men just want a CliffsNotes version because they are terrible listeners. What's on our minds may include emotions we were feeling at the time or a build up to the story to help explain how we got in that situation to begin with. Take the time to listen, empathize, and understand we may not be looking for a "fix" from you. Sometimes the vent is the fix itself.
I personally have autism so i do not have the patience nor tolerance if you cannot just tell me straight up how you feel. And I will never figure it out on my own
My son also has autism and sometimes does need things spelled out for him, but most times does not. He is very empathetic when he's not so "locked" into his ways.
Unless your case is severe, then I dont think it's impossible to learn.
I can’t understand body language. And I’d rather you tell me how you feel than to drag me along and expect me to figure it out myself
Since mind-reading is not a realistic expectation in any relationship, the most effective approach is to focus on clear and open communication. Encouraging directness and clarifying expectations can significantly improve understanding and reduce frustration.
did you actually want an answer or are you just frustrated and this is rhetorical?
Yes i wanted an answer. And yes i am frustrated by this
it's nuanced. me personally, if i don't communicate something it's because i don't want you to know about it. women are very communicative, statistically more so than men. you might ask yourself what it is about you that puts women off from talking to you
Like they don’t even tell the guy when/why they’re upset. I see it in a lot of relationships
okay, thank you. next time, put that in the question, because your post is basically you ranting without giving enough specifics to be answered
it's not that they're bad at communicating or can't communicate. usually they are pissed enough that they don't even want to talk to their partner at the moment. most of the time if the guy asks what's wrong, they will tell him. if not, they are immature
I’ve seen videos, even when the guy asks, they act stubborn and don’t even answer
there is a reason those videos are uploaded: they're ridiculous. people dont post videos of their wives responding normally. use that brain of yours princess
