Why would my boyfriend take money from someone else and not me?

My boyfriend has a account that both his friends and I are on and he couldn't afford to pay it on time this month and I asked if I could pay for it cause he really needed to use it, plus I use it as well, and he said no and wouldn't accept it nor tell me how much it was at all, but his friends offered and he accepted it without thinking twice. Why would he not let me? Nor let me get him anything, but his friends are allowed to?

Well, that is a good question but yes some people can be like that. Tough to say why though. Maybe it is the equation that he has with other people known to him as compared to you.

Hence taking help from people whom he knows is different as compared to taking help from you. I think it is just psychological rather than something being based on logic or rationale.

Taking money from a female is different and it's especially different if she is your s/o. It's part of guy code.

It could be about any number of reasons. Maybe knowing each other longer, having exchanged favors in the past, etc. In any case, you won’t have an answer unless you ask him yourself. The fact that you don’t want to ask actually shows a lot about the level of comfort there is in your relationship, potentially being one of the reasons he didn’t ask you for the money. Comfort.
