Is it okay to accept money from another man if you have a boyfriend?

So this guy I work with gave me $50 as a gift for graduating yesterday. Before he had been hitting on me and flirting with me which I also reported to my boyfriend. I also told my boyfriend about the money thing. Was it disrespectful to accept it?

Ok so why did you take the money? Did you take it cause he likes you so you used that against him to take the card? Or did you not want to be rude by rejecting him? Or just confused whether to take it or not so you just took it? To me as a male I think I’d be a little irritated. By you taking it, it kind of gives the other dude a good feeling in a way that he thinks there may be a chance whether now or later down the road. Would you be ok w your man taking money from a girl who had a crush on him?

Just report it to your boyfriend maybe give the money to your boyfriend now that would show you weren't cheating on him with that guy.
