3 moThe Man Box
Self-sufficiency: A man who talks a lot about his worries, fears, and problems shouldn’t really get respect; Men should figure out their personal problems on their own without asking for help.
Acting tough: A guy who doesn’t fight back when others push him around is weak; Guys should act strong even if they feel scared and nervous inside.
Physical attractiveness: It is very hard for a man to be successful if he doesn’t look good; A guy who spends a lot of time on his looks isn’t very manly; Women don’t go for guys who fuss too much about their clothes, hair and skin.
Rigid gender roles: It is not good for a boy to be taught how to cook, sew, clean the house or take care of younger children; A man shouldn’t have to do household chores; In heterosexual relationships, men should really be the ones to bring money home to provide for their families, not women.Homophobia and Transphobia: A gay guy is not a “real man”; A transgender man is not a “real man”; It’s not OK for straight guys to be friends with gay guys; It’s not OK for straight guys to be friends with trans or gender diverse people.
Hypersexuality: A “real man” has as many sexual partners as he can; A “real man” would never say no to sex.
Aggression and control: Men should use violence to get respect if necessary; In heterosexual relationships, a man should always have the final say about decisions in his relationship or marriage; If a guy has a girlfriend or wife, he deserves to know where she is all the time.

3 moThe hard part about being a man is the everything about it. Each little thing isn’t so bad. But when you add everything together and punctuate it with this simple truth: nobody is coming to save you. Then it can be tough at times.
As i often repeat, nothing is all good and nothing is all bad. The good thing about forcing men to swim or sink is that all the small trials and tribulations prepare us gradually for greater trials and tribulations. The bad thing is that there’s no built-in training for major trials and tribulations and if they come out of sequence, there still are no safety nets. We literally kill the wolf or the wolf kills us. Sometimes the wolf just leaves us for dead and our tribe abandons us because they have no use for weak or incompetent men.
This is something that the left has actually defended and overdeveloped. Now we have nearly whole generations of men who are useless to themselves and the world around them when it really matters, but boy can they whip up some mean bagel bites, kick ass at “Fortnite” and cry at all the right parts of “The Notebook”. 😂😂😂
Finding the right balance between the capabilities to destroy everyone and everything and the will to never use it is nigh impossible. Most guys mostly get it right but most people only remember when they get it wrong. Like that old saying, “One ‘oh shit’ wipes out ALL your ‘attaboys’”.10 Reply 821 opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. I've never been anything else so I don't have anything to compare to and no matter what it is you're taking on. I really have to think about this one because I don't have a clue.
And i'm thinking about it , i'm thinking even if I could find something to say , I don't know if I would because compared to what you guys go through , we have an easy we have made
So, even though I truly can't think of anything. Illuminator when I would think of it would be so petty to compared to what you guys go through10 Reply355 opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. @Simslover92 Can't think of one Single' thing, as there are many, as women have many hard things to deal with.
It sounds very 'self-serving' and very 'micro' focused, but one hard thing for ME personally, has been, ever since I was very young, (22) not being able to perform sexually under some new and different circumstances.
That sounds very juvenile, I know, but for men that have that kind of problem, it can be really devastating at those times when it occurs. Women feel that they are not attractive to you and it can hurt a relationship
Other than that, financial pressure in marriage, stress in bringing up a family
I hope this does not sound very trivial
10 ReplyOne of the hardest parts is the pressure to always “have it together” , to be strong, decisive, and in control emotionally and practically.
It can make vulnerability feel risky, and expressing doubt, fear, or insecurity sometimes seems like a weakness. Balancing that expectation with being authentic and emotionally present is a constant challenge.30 Replyas a woman, i'd say it's probably that they can't just show certain emotions as freely as women can and are shamed for being in need of help, that it's harder for them to get laid or get a date, people can assume they have bad intentions for doing innocent things like being friendly to kids, and their social status in society is more tied to their financial status than women
20 Reply382 opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. Honest truth. The men that have a family and are the sole provider, or do anything to make sure there kids are fed etc. Not taking anything away from Women, but no one cares what men go through. Majority of suicides are men, that suffer from mental health.
20 Reply7.8K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. It sounds like a cliche, but it's the quiet pressures, the expectations, and the emotional rules men are taught to follow from a young age.

but, seriously...
probably, the hardest thing about being a man as how we don't believe in limitations... so, we can take stupidity to the max levels and beyond... - 3 mo
Ok that makes sense.
- 3 mo
that's why we have so many wars... because some few, stupid men, decide it is worth to ruin it all just to get the one thing they want for themselves
and then... many other men are stupid enough to follow
never underestimate stupid people in large groups... lol - 3 mo
Lol right.
3 moGetting older and aches and pains, ironically on the topic have absolutely no problem getting hard, but a sports injury I’m on the waiting list for surgery so the injury is really interfering with prolonged repetitive hip movement if you get me 😣

3 moHonestly, today in 2026 i would say the hardest thing about being a man is meeting an Amazing Woman to share your life with. (Great Example) UnitedStates Population 338.2 Million Females Currently On Onlyfans 210 Million
10 Reply370 opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. Expectations of being strong and noble. Being chivalrous and energetic ALL THE TIME. Being stoic and able to say "It's gonna be ok" in a way to make others believe.
10 Reply1.6K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. That many, if not most, women believe that if a man falls in love with her, or treats her well, that somehow makes him weak.

3 moNothing really. I think having a monthly reminder, bloating, getting hit on by every clown, and people thinking you slept your way up if you get a good job are far worse for the ladies than anything I can think of for me.

Probably being forced to live up to society’s expectations of him as a man. I think gender roles are very confining unless you feel like embracing them.

You make your life easy or difficult by your decisions, not your gender.
