What does it mean when a grown man drunk texts asking you out dancing?

We've gone out on and off for a little while, he's direct with asking me out and having a plan. No relationship has come out of our knowing one another, but the wasly he acts is just confusing. he's very attentive and considerate, always looking to help with anything.

If a person texts you when in an intoxicated stage, then it is a red flag to me and he is probably into something that is no good.

There are various reasons for him to text you in this state:

1. He is bored and needs company.

2. He would like something more than just casual and platonic relationship. Perhaps that he needs or wants to get rid of some excess testosterone and finds you are the right person to do so.

3. He needs a good soul to talk with about something that is disturbing him.

If this is the first time he texts you when intoxicated, then something in his mind has changed about how he perceives you.

I’d be less concerned with a drunken text and more concerned with where the connection is going. There are definitely men out there who enjoy a woman’s company without having any intention of getting serious with her. Aka, girlfriend benefits on “just friends” budget. If I were you I’d want to establish whether your connection is more friends with benefits/situationship or actually going somewhere.

Drunk texting happens & as for the grown man drunk texting you he’s obviously thinking about you but please note he could be drunk texting other girls as well.

He wants to go dancing with you & he wants to dance in the bedroom after.

Drunk texts pretty much means they want to have sex with you , especially if they are asking to see you. Alcohol can easily make people horny and make them think of that person a lot.
