Honestly, is it weird that I’ve kind of been drawn to single moms?

I’ve met a couple of single moms recently and I have to say they are way better at talking to men than singles girls. They come with mutual game, seem interested, and they seem a lot more genuine and mature and serious about how they live their lives which absolutely makes sense.

I really don’t know about how I would do with someone who already has kids. It’s definitely not ideal as a man, but just noticing the energy they bring to your interactions with them, it’s easy to kind of be won over, especially if they are pretty. And the two that I’ve met are.

If I met girls I enjoyed and if these girls in question would fit in the same category, then ofc I'd be drawn to that category. Perfectly logical.

However, I would wonder if that category I'm pointing at really makes sense, or if I'm just intuitively jumping to conclusions because categorizing is naturally tempting.

They do tend to be more intentional in their dating style. Just be cognizant of what that intent is.

I just don’t always understand why a single girl without kids can’t be the same way. Obviously they CAN but that is usually not the reality. They just aren’t serious. Head way up in the clouds.

You could understand, asker, because the answer is, partially, in your question. Having kids automatically makes you look at life in a very different way, high chances that you get a maturity boost from it, it grounds you.

@Maybe_Maybe_not well yes of course, but there are so many women out there that could have it all and be so much more attractive, if only they just had that groundedness. Behaved better. Made better choices for themselves all round. It couldn’t be easier for them, but they still find ways to screw up their lives and mess with the wrong people.

That is what’s hard to understand. They’re so gassed up that a normal healthy relationship isn’t stimulating to them.

Technically I understand what you're saying, asker, but my experience, romantically, with women is so wildly different than yours that I can't relate... Women I've been with were as grounded as you describe, and they were not single moms
