I guess you just have to wait and see if he responds. He might say that he just got the message because he was busy working, driving, shopping, or whatever. If he has no excuse, then he's possibly not interested. When people want to talk to someone, they make an effort to reply as soon as possible.

Someone intentionally ignoring someone for long periods cut them loose. Now if you’re messaging them non important stuff when they’re sleeping or at work. Don’t blame them

If you know he sees them, it's very possible. I hope you're not messaging him somewhere he wouldn't look. I only really check my texts and snapchat. I'd get rid of Snapchat, but my friends from high school still use it.
