Is it true that men feel insecure about dating a woman if they aren’t where they want to be career wise/ financially?

Can a man be attracted to a woman but feels too insecure because of where he works or doesn’t feel ready. Especially if he works a subservient position

It’s possible because most men feel women will only be interested in him and be with him , if he has a decent job and makes decent money , so if he doesn’t have a decent income job he may feel insecure that she won’t be interested in him , so he backs off and doesn’t pursue her , especially if she looks like a high maintenance girl , that is gorgeous to his eyes and he feels she is out of his league. When I got laid off from my decent job that I made a good salary from , I assumed my partner at the time would lose interest in me , because I knew a bunch of guys’ that their wife or girlfriend ended up leaving him because he wasn’t making the money that he use to make. I am not saying every girl does this , but sadly a majority of them do. Sadly women have a reputation for only wanting a guy that has a successful job and makes good money that can financially support her. My ex started treating me like trash when I was having a hard time landing a new job , so I assumed she was going to end up leaving me over it and find herself another guy that she felt was successful. And unfortunately my assumptions were right , when she told me I am not a good man , but I was a great man to her when I was still at my last job. So I no longer date girls’ or will be with a girl that is only wants me because of money , I only like girls’ that want to be my partner that work together as a team not a girl that is a user

I'm sure that's true for some guys. Those are probably the kind of guys who will always find something to be insecure about. Some may also be the type who won't have sex before marriage or date anyone without the intent of marrying them.

I never even thought about my income. I had steady, monogamous girlfriends even when I was working part time for minimum wage. Girls liked me for who I was, not for financial benefits. They were really sweet, good looking girls, too.

I wouldn't have gotten married unless I had income and assets, though.

Nope, but how you worded that means most guys will doge you like bullets in The Matrix. Basically you just advertised yourself as a prostitute. You think guys have to pay for you and you give off the impression that you are for sale to the highest bidder. No guy would be serious about someone like you. You're a ho. If they are partying and they want to fuck, they will hit it and be gone before daylight. Guys aren't worrying about buying you, but when you advertise that part of your personality... that is being for sale (and you can't even help it because it's who you are to the bone), guys are going to avoid you like you have AIDS.

I've dated plenty of women who were way above me financially. I dated a venture capitalist who was very successful and I was just getting started. I think it's awesome if a woman is rocken the career and if Incan network and help to make her even more successful that's my mission. Her success is my success.

I've never felt insecure with a good, honest and at least in my eyes a beautiful woman in my arms. I've never been the super jock popular guy but I've always had my life goals and been on track to them so why would I be anything bur secure and confident?

It is certainly something that could be a factor. It depends on the guy. I know I'll probably have to change my career direction once I find a serious option, but it's really the least of my concerns.
