A question is a question & in this world there are positive answers & negative answers & as for your question it could be a compliment or it could be an insult as well.

Telling a girl she looks like a Barbie is almost always intended as a compliment regarding her physical appearance. However, depending on who is saying it and the context, it can carry a few different meanings both positive and negative.

On one hand you can be beautiful, picture perfect & so much more. On the other hand like a Barbie you can be plastic or fake.

if i say it, it's not a compliment. i mean i guess it does mean she's physically attractive to begin with but it means she looks fake and uses too much makeup. but I don't know if other guys see it as a compliment.
