Will a guy think it’s too coincidental that I keep running into him?

Saw this guy in one week.

The next week I ran into him again.

Was it planned? No I was going to go anyway. Did I know he was coming. Sort of but I found out I didn't creep on him.

Probably not , especially if the encounters happened in places you’d naturally go anyway.

People often overestimate how noticeable “coincidences” are to others. Unless you’re suddenly appearing everywhere he goes or making it obvious that you track his schedule, most people just think:

“Oh, funny seeing you again.”

And honestly, if you already move in similar circles or routines, repeated run-ins are normal.

The fact that:

you were genuinely planning to go anyway

you only sort of knew he might be there

you weren’t monitoring or chasing him

…makes this sound pretty harmless and ordinary.

At most, he might think:

“We keep crossing paths lately.”

Not:

“She’s stalking me.”

You’re likely much more self-conscious about it than he is.

Did you see him once at an alcoholics anonymous meeting and then once at a bar? That doesn't sound coincidental to me...

but really... some context about where you saw him twice would help... and how far away it is from either of you and if it was a similar type of setting that someone interested in one would be interested in the other... you know... helpful info...

I saw him at a gaming event.

And then saw him at another (unrelated) gaming event

See, that was very helpful. If two people are into gaming events, then it makes sense they'd both be at another game event the next time one happens... I bet he'll be at the next one you to go too
