As a man, how should you respond if a woman violently attacks you?

I don't mean just slapping you or something like that. I mean, using her fists and maybe her feet. Maybe she's about the same size or bigger than you are, and she's trying to beat the hell out of you. What do you do?

Find a way to create distance ultimately. Step around furniture or objects to obstruct and use the moment to leave. A quick push and retreat as a last resort. Never engage. You"ve a lot to lose in that moment.

I actually had this happen to me. My ex attacked me like a damn gladiator while I was sitting in an armchair playing video games. Punching, scratching, biting, head butting, spitting, kicking... like a spider monkey on coke. It took me a moment to get my feet under myself and then I bear hugged from behind and took her to the ground. Now I get why cops use that tactic. Takes the fight right out of you.

I can't imagine where this would happen, as it's rare that women randomly attack strangers, and I don't visit places where fights break out. Anyway one's duty is to defend oneself with a minimum of force, and most often the answer is to simply leave.

A local meteorologist got arrested due to an altercation with his girlfriend, and there were no witnesses, but she called the police. He said she threw the first punch, she said he threw the first punch, the police arrested him and he lost his job. I can assure you, he got no fair trial and went to prison.
