Is my boyfriend’s behavior during arguments normal or a red flag?

When me and my boyfriend have arguments (We are both in our early 30’s) he will literally leave for days , we supposedly live together. He’ll leave and go sleep outside somewhere. How do I know? I have his location and he’s told me. He doesn’t have his own place but I feel sleeping outside is kinda extreme. I’ll catch up to him and tell him he doesn’t have to do this and come back and he’ll refuse. He will just come back randomly maybe after a week or two. We mostly argue because anything can make him snap he’s easily triggered. And he just Explodes call me names cusses at me sometimes I can’t help but to say something back then he says I’m not being submissive. and he just leave to go stay to go stay in abandon houses , outside ect….. and no, he’s not on drugs I’m absolutely sure he’s not. And he doesn’t drink either. And no another woman isn’t involved. This is the weirdest behavior I’ve ever dealt with and it’s extremely draining.

Unless you are visibly seeing with your own eyes that he’s sleeping in these places, then I wouldn’t trust the location thing. I could not possibly imagine any sane-minded person opting to go sleep out on the street or in an abandoned house for days on end. He could be at someone’s house nearby a park or abandoned house.

There is no way you know for sure he isn't on drugs. You aren't with him for days, how would you know?

You really have to ask if this is normal behavior or not? Of course it’s not normal. There’s obviously something wrong with him and it’s nothing you can fix. You need to leave him, he’s seriously messed up in the head.
