Why does life keep humiliating me when I’m not even cocky?

Simple example I like someone thought hey she only likes me also boom she starts talking to another guy I never took my shot everybody knows feels bad. Another simple example I’m good at a sport one day but not just any day let’s say it’s in front of all my friends at a special event or something I get beat really bad. Embarrassed both of these times feeling bad when I was never cocky to begin with so why does it feel so personal and like I deserve it for what?

That is just life. Things don't always work out the way that you hope they do. I guess with the girl you shouldn't wait as long as you did and ask her out. She may have liked you and then decided since you didn't make a move that you were not interested. Then came along the other guy.

As for the other stuff, I don't really know what to say. How do you get beat bad at a special event? I suppose you could just not participate in whatever it is.

Nah that’s a question for the universe honestly I have no choice but to move on and except it nobody is obligated to be with me I fully understand so I don’t really have a comment for that.
