Why did my attraction to this guy suddenly disappear so fast?

Ever been attracted to a man and all of a sudden he’s unattractive to you? I had started becoming attracted to this guy who I felt was nice always spoke to me, complimented my gym shoes and asked if they were comfortable, always smiled ect… and the last interaction where I was sitting and he walked passed and told me to have a good evening with a smile… I thought oh i think I’m slightly attracted to him

Recently I noticed that maybe I’m not as attracted to him and the last couple interactions have been awkward or he would say hi awkward… I realized he looks and acts just like his father who is almost 80 and he asked how I was doing and I said ewww … I was NOT attracted..! And I really don’t understand what happened?

For one he is 41 and I’m 29… he’s always with his parents but he does have a sick mom and overbearing dad who may have raised him with an iron fist because his dad is challenging.. but it’s like I don't know why this attraction changed…
