Why do guys persist with their messages?

I’m not talking about constant every day messages. I’m talking about a pop up message once every few months. Why do you send a message to a female you used to talk to with a simple “hey” expecting her to know who you are when you haven’t spoken in months?

You should realise that if she doesn’t respond, or she hasn’t spoken to you in months, she is NO LONGER interested. So leave her alone.

Since you asked why, I will say, I think your frustration is valid. That said, have you told this person what you told all of us? If you have then block his number and on socials.

If you haven't told him this well... you maybe direct this at him and it will stop. Or just block him.

I received a hey message at 2:26am a few days ago from a name that looked familiar but his picture was of a sunset background so I don’t know who it was. I’m aware we have chatted in the past, the convo fizzled out and I assumed that was it.. but the middle of the night message shows he was trying to do a booty call and I’m not interested in that. He’s now been blocked but I was just curious what goes through men’s minds when they do this.

You're asking why to a question you can figure out. I know you have the ability to understand why anyone would text anyone that late randomly like this?

Drunk, horny, desperate to name a few. Think about it if you want more possible reasons.

I figured this out not because I'm a man but because I imagined what possible reasons a person would do this. It's kind of obvious. If you're still thinking but why... I say you're wasting your time letting this take up your head space since you're clearly not interested.

It’s the messaging out of the blue, after months, that I’m wondering about. If she hasn’t responded… why keep trying?
I’m well aware of why they message at stupid o’clock - because they’re horny and they need help getting off. Most likely I wasn’t the only one he messaged.

I think it's because women tend to be rather mercurial and thus change their minds often. You can never tell when they're going to change their mind in your favor. You can also never tell when they're going to change their mind and it won't be in your favor. This has a lot to do with why it is that dealing with women for most men is a frightening and often miserable experience.

I can understand changing our minds often… I can totally relate. But after the convo has fizzled out on both sides, why bother trying to get back in touch? It’s not going to get any better

A lot can be interpreted by this. Also something may have happened to one of the parties and one is trying to reach out. You can also block this person.

Some women don’t get the message for a while then they message later and I shouldn’t have to message anybody. I’m famous. Everybody knows me
