I'm a 28 year old woman; people expect me to want to text because I was born in the Internet era.

I usually don't like texting because I don't like having to wait for a text and I enjoy immediate, visible feedback.

I've uninstalled all my social media apps, and I only want to use WhatsApp for work purposes; for everyday use, I bought a dumbphone.

There is no man I'm interested in at the moment, it's just that I'm afraid I might seem uninterested when, one day, I'll have to say that I'm only available in real life.

Not necessarily. Some women just aren’t big on texting and may prefer calls or spending time together in person. It becomes a sign of disinterest more if she consistently avoids communication, gives dry replies, or never makes an effort to connect in any way.

I don’t care about texting but she better answer the phone. Personally I prefer phone calls over texts, but most people rarely want to talk on the phone anymore. Effective and timely communication is the way to make everything you want to happen actually happen. If you are unable or unwilling to communicate then it’s not gonna happen.

Unfortunately, yes. I encounter the same problem with women. I have no energy to continuously message someone I barely know who responds the next day.

It’s honestly a bit weird, because there are far more situations where you can text with your partner/friends than talk on the phone.
