Would a guy cuddle with a girl if he only wanted her as a friend?

there's this guy I hang with when I go home for college we both work together and the last time we hung he cuddled with me while we watched a movie but when he drove me home he didn't try to kiss me. What does this mean?

Unfortunately there are some guys out there that do like to cuddle but don't really want anything else. I know it's weird but on the flip side that's not always the case. Sometimes they feel like they have to progress to the next step like kissing in your case. Give him some time and hang out some more I'm sure that you'll see some signs on whether or not he's into you and maybe you might have to be the one who makes the first move.

Were there more times when you thought something might happen or just this one time you cuddled? Because I have a few guy friends that I cuddle with all the time and think nothing of it. We're just cool like that, but there's nothing else to it. But I don't know, are there other things that make you think there might be something more?

1. he isn't looking for a relationship

2. he likes someone else more

3. or he looking for a reaction from you

He is probably shy, he has probably been attracted to you for some time and the cuddling was the most courageous thing he could muster. either you take initiative or be prepared to wait, he was probably expecting a reaction from you when cuddling and if you did not give any he will probably be even more hesitant to try something next time. if you are interested take initiative.

I am just so confused because he is not shy and gets so many girls. He also makes comments to me like oh I think this girl is hot or this and that all the time its so annoying and to be truthful it hurts my feelings. When we cuddled he didn't hold my hand or anything...just put a blanket over us and put his feet on mine and put his hand on my leg and caress my knee

Unless you think it would make it awkward to work with him just ask. the hand on your leg seems indicative of some interest in you, but he is unwilling to ask you fearing the same things as you. he is afraid that asking you anything and getting rejected will ruin your friendship. through experience if I get rejected by a girl than I feel awkward around them and might lose them as a friend, if a girl were to ask me it would be a lot less awkward and I would still be able to be friends.

In this situation I would have done the same thing if I was with a girl I liked. If he has never kissed you before, then it makes sense. I would do this because by waiting and not kissing, I would think that it would make the girl want it even more and when I really do kiss her it would be much more meaningful.

no. I would only let a guy cuddle me if we were like intimate and I considered him boyfriend type material

i think he's interested but trying to take things slow and trying not to make it obvious that he likes you cause he doesn't know how you feel.
