ive asked this question before because I've been in your shoes. The truth is guys who do that are ones that want to make you jealous, and to be honest, guys who have that will and energy and time to waste to get a jealous reaction from you can only mean they like you a lot, not as a friend.

ut do be careful because one guy who did that same exact thing to me, calling some other chick cute in front of me after flirting around with me turned out to be a player.

My old FWB used to tell me about sleeping with other girls, or taking other girls out. About a year later, after stopping our FWB relationship, he told me that the reason he used to do that was he had feelings for me and he wanted to see what kind of reaction I would have to that info. Since I didn't react at all he figured I had no feelings for him and didn't tell me how he felt.

Maybe and maybe not. He might just try to make you jealous or see what you say/how you respond. Sometimes if a guy likes you he may say he doesn't have time for girls or girls are xyz, or something.
