What does it mean if a boy fidgets or moves a lot when he's talking to you ?

Question

i was talking to my friend who's a boy that I like, and he was moving a lot! he had a bottle in his hand and he kept moving it from hand to hand? he also was just fidgeting and all that ? oh and he called me a stu which means like a nerd kinda :o and I just shrugged my shoulders and then he said I wouldn't mind being a stu ? what does all this mean ? :P please and thank you (:

1) He's either on meds, hyper, nervous, or generally (naturally) fidgety. I have the habit of cracking my knuckles (sort of). I'm a little fidgety, which I think is fairly "natural" for me, but I was messed up as a kid, so it probably developed from that.

2) He could be interested, or just trying to play with you (oh, you are SUCH a nerd!) - and he wishes he had some nerdier characteristics... nerds generally are seen as smart... he might just be saying he wishes he were more brilliant, or better at "nerd" subjects.

It doesn't necessarily mean that he's interested, but it's not a sign of him being disinterested, either. Sorry. Wish there was something more definitive.

From my own personal experience of being a goof, it can either be:

He's shy and fidget-y when talking to girls.

or...

It sounds like he was really nervous and he wasn't anticipating talking to you because he likes you! =D

I hope it's the latter!

Jayrex is right. It could be any of those. A guy with ADD issues will fidget whether he's attracted to you or not. A married guy might fidget (even unconsciously try to hide/remove his ring) if you make him...nervous. A committed guy might fidget or have shifty eyes if he's worried about being caught. A single guy might fidget if he's nervous about talking to you or to girls in general. Take your pick. You basically have to know the guy a little before you know which "type of fidgeting" is being manifested.
