If I never catch a girl looking at me, is she not interested?

Like if I'm walking around, talking to other people. I've always wondered if she just isn't interested or if it's her personality since I've never seen her look around really and she's the type of girl who doesn't talk to anyone or go up to anyone unless they go to her. I've made the effort several times to go up to her, but I never catch her looking at me otherwise.

A lot of girls are too cool to ever be caught looking. They look in mirrors, they use compacts, they look at you in store windows...often you can never catch them!.

Its not that we're attention seekers, we are just afraid to say something to a guy we like and when we do talk to them, we don't want to be shot down and the guy would say "im not interested". So I kind of prefer a guy talk to me, otherwise I will never talk to a guy I like even if I really want him, I have pride and dignity.

sneaky, sounds like me around attractive, intelligent guys. or like, "hes totally out of my league" guy. if you see her alot, probably at the same spot, she might be checking you out without being noticed.

um, she was cool. we talked all three or four times I did it. She's just hard to get a read, whether she appreciates it or not. If I stopped talking, generally she'd say something to keep the convo going.

that's a good sign, if she talks to you, maintains eye contact while you are talking, maybe smiles every now and then or touches her hair/fidgets a bit then she's nervous but likes you.
