Is it too early for second base?

my boyfriend and I have been dating for a month now, and I let him go to second base on the weekend, and when he tried it again today I stopped him and told him I didn't want to rush things. Did I make the right decision? I reeaaalllyyyy want him to do it, but I just don't want to jump into things.

The only person who knows when it's the right time is you, these things happen when you're comfortable with them taking place. There is no set time span for the physical stuff to happen.
