Have you ever wanted to commit suicide?

I'm not suicidal but I have thought about it in the past. I think its more common than people like to admit so if you voted yes, why did you want to kill yourself? And how were you thinking about doing it?

I actually tried. I think maybe because I was so young and thought life sucked

I've cut myself before. it feels great until you realize that it didn't fix anything. All it gave me was scars and my heart was still empty. it was people like the few friends that I have and my family that saved me from that darkness. So yeah.

Yeah, I've thought about it in the past, especially when things in my life got bad. I thought about either using a gun or pills. I wanted to because I felt like nobody cared about me or was there for me. So I basically felt abandoned and depressed. I'm not anymore though and I'm living my life now.

I've thought about death itself. How I'd die, who might come to my funeral, things like that. But I've never actually wanted to take my own life, even when I was at the worst stage of my bout with clinical depression.

Yes back in my teens, I even tried, bottle of tequila and a box of sleeping pills, dadf ound me sent me to the hospital then treatment, I was going through a lot at the time with the family splitting up, and loss of my grandma, and justa whole bunch of stuff I would hope most never deal with

im glad you didn't succeed in that, did being so close to death give you a new outlook on life?

it didn't then, but last year I had a heat stroke and my kidneys start to fail, that gave me a new respect for all that I have

It always struck me as being both selfish and the cowards way out of what ever is going on in your life at the time.

it is absolutely cowardice but that's the point, that your not brave enough to endure living

Then that's where the first half of my answer comes in. Why would anyone want to be so selfish as to hurt who knows how many people simply because they were having a rough time in life. Makes more sense to seek out help.

everyone doesn't have family and friends who care and love them. And if they do, you can't live for other people, theyll be sad when your gone but they can't take your pain away while your here. Its selfish to expect someone to live in misery just for your sake, so you won't have to feel guilty or sad.

There was a time when I was 13/14 that I was very depressed but no, I've never thought of killing myself.

A gun would've been my method.

thats really sad, there are always options, its not worth loosing your life over. Consider adoption, abortion and maybe you can keep the baby and lose the guy. If you wanted the baby at some point you probably still do

I don't want his baby. Abortion is not, exactly legal at this point. But I don't want his baby inside me for the rest of the term. I want it out.

you just need to remember that you will get past this. don't let what he did effect the way you feel about the baby, think of it this way, its not his baby its yours, its a part of you and you don't have to take out his mistakes on the baby. If anything wait until the baby is born and see how you feel, if you don't fall in love and feel compelled to keep it (which I think you will) then you can consider adoption. Whatever this guy did, he's not worth you dying for.

I don't know what your going through but I know what its like to not want to live anymore.There's always hope so just don't give up
