How will a girl's friends act around you if they know that she likes you?

At the moment, there are two girls that possibly/probably like me. I'm not sure enough that they like me to do anything about it, but that's kind of beside the point.

Anyway, their good friends have been acting kind of odd around me lately. I don't even know how to describe it. They've just been friendlier. Like, both of the girls are kind of shy, at least around me, I don't know how they act when I'm not around, obviously, and they both seem to alternate between being friendly to me or being shy around me, and lately they've both been kind of particularly shy, and their respective friends have been interacting with me more, even when they're around, and quiet.

Is this something that girls do? Are there any other things that a girl's friends will do that might indicate whether or not their friends like someone?
How will a girl's friends act around you if they know that she likes you?
