When the chemistry is gone, does the history matter?

We as human beings are continuously evolving. As we get older, our thought processes change, our ability to process information also changes. Our emotional state also changes as well as our physical wants, needs and desires will also change. Quite often what drew you together with your mate when you both were in your earlier years may no longer be there, thus the chemistry is gone. It doesn't happen all the time, but sometimes, with everyone continuously evolving, couples do and have grown apart.

When this happens, it generally is more healthy and practical to just part ways. There's no need to allow history to force you to stay in a relationship that you may grow to resent. Wouldn't it be better to just part ways and have good memories with the person, leaving you free to find someone who is more compatible with you in the way that best suits you in the present tense? It wouldn't be wise to stay in or force a relationship where your physical, emotional needs aren't being met. Besides, if the feeling is mutual, and the other person decides to move on, it's going to happen anyway, whether you like it or not.

Bottom line, no matter how much you may want to keep a bad relationship because of history,. If the other person wants to leave, then the relationship will not survive.

When the chemistry is gone its very hard to get back in my opinion but you being a girl it should be very easy to bring back the chemistry again by flirting a bit with your man maybe even a bit of dirty talk and then move from that to maybe dressing up sexy for your man in sexy lingera something to his preference for me its pvc couldn't refuse any girl in pvc but you should have a better idea what if likes like us men are very weak when it comes to women and yee have the upper hand when it comes to sex and sex is the key to getting your spark back works for me every time now about does the past matter to me the past is the past and I just get on with the future so it don't matter what happened but unless you were unfaithfull to him rows and fight's are forgotten about us men think of sex all the time we haven't time to think of the past lol if you were unfaithfull just depends on his mind really and how he feels about you trust wise like are you gonna do it again and if so that's where your problem is. Usually, no. Chemistry disappears for a reason, e.g. the fading of an illusion, someone messing up, the "newness" fading, etc.

1. The chemistry that you are referring to generally comes in suddenly and naturally without any warnings but to lose it is a process.

2. It is lost either by losing general interest in each other once the wave has tided over or more often by various other differences in each other especially possessiveness, suspicion, envy, jealousy, nagging etc

3. When it happens especially with the latter in the point above, it's almost impossible to get the chemistry back since even when you try to, after an initial phase very shortly the same problems will recurr

4. Inference is it's very diffcult and almost impossible to get the chemistry back except for a very short time which again is a desperate attempt

So many people think that having a history will be of some benefit for working things out again. It's not enough. Relationships cannot survive on history and past feelings alone. Is it still possible? Yes, if both parties are really willing to try. But by and far, it's best to understand that things ended for a reason.

Yes, chemistry is a variable thing. Taking a break can cause lots of problems. Try to space yourself out for just a little while and see each other less. And then when you do, go do fun things, do something different and go out and have fun. Spacing yourselves out seems detrimental. But it really isnt, it allows you two to miss each other. And you should do this to a smaller extent throughout the relationship. If you see each other way too often, you get bored of each other.
