I do however love your " I don't need a man to feel happy" attitude because that is going to help you in the long run. I can't help but feel is it because you don't want to get hurt? Or you just haven't found the right man yet and therefore gave up. Yes you came into this world alone , butthat does not mean you have to live it alone. Come on girl you sure you don't want the warm embrace of a man on cold Christmas nights, or someone to come home too? Please tell me you aren't going to buy a bunch of pets.
Not really that weird, although a completely foreign feeling to me. I don't need a man to feel complete, but I do need a man in my life. So you don't want ANYTHING to do with men? Like, not even someone to be physically close with? No sex drive? Maybe you just haven't met someone that makes your heart pitter patter yet. Plus you're young yet, what you want in life will change a lot in the next years. Everything is greater when you have someone you love to share it with.
I have often felt the same way, but I do have a desire for sex, affection and social interaction. I am very independent and enjoy my free time, though, so I know what you mean in that regard.
Wierd? No. It's your life so live it the way you want. But I will warn you that everyone else will come up with their own reason to explain why your not in a relationship despite what you tell them. But don't be so eager to claim being single forever. Try thinking I will stay single until someone convinces me otherwise just to remain open to possibilities.
It isn't odd. There are a large number of people who feel this way. If it is being driven solely by being completed it may not last though. A lot of things change in life.
