Why are there NO girls in my Engineering classes?

I am currently attending a University for an Electrical Engineering major, and there is one question I have always had. In the average Engineering class of about 80 or some odd students, there are one or two girls at most attending the class.

I really don't know what to think, being that high in the M:F ratio is not an advantage when it comes to meeting someone. At this point I'm near the end of the degree path, taking entirely ECE (Electrical and Computer Engineering) courses.

So, why would girls not be interested in this major? What makes this major more interesting for guys?

lmao..lol...i am with on this one a 100%..lol. there was no girls in my engineering class at all.

infact my teacher even told me so far there has only being one girl that took an engineering class in his decades of teaching. I don't know what's up with the babes mehn. if you want to have more babes in your clasees, trust me, take history and art classes...lol. nursing classes as well...lol

Most girls don't want to appear 'masculine', and being interested in math/science is still taboo for most of them after 14 or so.

It may be changing, but slowly.

I remember girls who were really bright, who, all of a sudden, when they started wearing a bra, started being unable to do simple math problems. I didn't understand it at the time...

I would never become an electrical engineer because my Dad is one and I grew up around it and all the f***ing equipment that comes with the job all my life!

Because its technical minded and girls can't do their nails in these classes. You actually have to stuff and can't f*** around to learn this stuff. No dick suckin' passed answers on these courses. Plus you don't want a engineering chick. At a 100:1 ratio, any girl is prime candidate. Go for the women studies major, sociology, business majors... then them whine at how hard life is, then SHOW them how HARD life is.
