How to tell if a Catholic/religious guy likes you?

I'm seriously confused! He's an overall nice guy, seems very respectful of women so he doesn't make flirtatious physical contact with any girls that I've seen.

So how on earth can you tell if a Catholic guy is interested in you (Aside from asking you out or saying so, obviously)?

It's hard to say without knowing his personality type, I'm Catholic too but my assumption is that he doesn't openly express when he is interested in a girl. He might be but he is quite disciplined and doesn't pursue anything until he knows for sure that she does like him back. Perhaps you could give some hints and then he might go for it. Otherwise just keep flirting with him and he'll get the idea, let him know your intentions too if possible, I'm not sure if you're after something momentary whereas he might only prefer to begin a relationship if it becomes long term

He's the outgoing/social type, I'm quite shy on the other hand. I dropped a pretty big hint a little bit back, and I really don't know if he got the message. And I'm definitely not after something short-term, I don't 'date around' and I'm very cautious about who I let get close to me. That's why I'm hesitant about being more forward without being sure that he actually does like me back.

he might not have picked it up, guys generally think less about those little intricasies, especially since he is really outgoing he's probably not even thought about it. Girls tend to think and over think things whereas often, guys will not think about certain things at all. You might need to be a little more direct with the hint to give him the idea, or just see if he eventually comes back to flirting with you if you stick with him for a while

Being close to him, flirt with him, maybe ask if he wants to hang out stuff like that drop hints that give the indication that you like him.

When his face "turns a small shade of red", and a slight boyish grin like... and sheepishly can't look directly look into your beautiful eyes when speaking to him rather "cozily." Take it from there...
