You know that most people who can't do better will interpret that as following: "I felt hurt, therefore my partner did not respect me enough, therefore my partner was selfish and cared only about his life, his goals and thinks the world revolves around him instead of both of us and therefore he must be a narcissist!"

Yes, but they are rather really nice people who guilt themselves for everything all the time and become depressive very often. It is hard to explain the actual effects of mental disorders on people to someone who never experienced how it changes them.
