Why would a guy deny liking you when the signs are all there?

I think my guy friend is in love with me.i can tell he really cares for me.we went through so much with each other were still friends off and on.I've never had a guy care for me like this but he still breaks my heart sometimes.he even wanted to be friends with benefits with me.the eye contact is also intense with him.

All these signs are just signs at the end of the day. If you don't believe what he doesn't like you then you are saying that you don't trust what he says. He want to be friends with benefits so to me he just wants to get inside your pants. Remember signs are just made up by people and are never absolute, until he says he likes you, please take his word for it and trust his judgement.

Well then maybe he's concerned it'll go south after awhile and y'all would drift apart, a thousand things could be running through his mind, invite him over and take his keys and make em sit down and talk lol

Every man is different. It may be fear or uncertainty or insecurities the list of possibilities is endless. The best thing to do is quit trying to read his mind chances are you're wrong. If you like him continue to show that you like him. If you don't continue just being his friend and keeping things platonic and give him time to sort out his own feelings
