So I'm talking with this guy 2 years.. we've so much in common, we laugh, we share our thoughts but he's leave 7 hours away.. So after 1 month that was clearly that we like each other we did sexting.. and then we did that every night.. after 8 months and after we had a fight because he was too much "demanding" we opened up to each other.. I told him that I want more than this and he told me that he couldn't give me that but he didn't want to lose me because I was his company in every way and he likes more to chat with me than go out with he's friends and that I've fucked he's mind.. after this he was started slowly to being totally cold and we either fight all the time because he was jealous or either have sexting.. we ended up not talking for months and then he text me that he misses me and we get back to together but he was in he's own world and we ended up fighting AGAIN. We talk again but it was really awkward because we had say a lot of bad things to each other. We meet but I told him not to do smthing because we ended up by this way aaaand I regretted but it was too late. He told me that I was beautiful and that if I was there he will never let me go but after that we didn't speak so much and after 3 months I went to he's town and he didn't want to see me.. I was so sad and I blocked him from everywhere. Now 4 months later he text me sms hahaha and we talk AAAAGAIN but when I went the conversation to sexting to see if he still likes me he turned me off. Like WTF I CAN UNDERSTAND THIS PERSON AND WHAT HE WANT FROM ME NOW

I was talking to my cousin's husband and he said love doesn't exist and women are fools, that they believe in love. Men just want sex from women, nothing else. Most women are dumb.

So, I want men on GaG to be 100% honest.

For example when his friends say stuff like "stop flirting", pushing him on you in corridors , laughing and saying his name in a silly voice when he talks to you, etc. Basically just trying embarrass him in front of you?

I've noticed an intriguing common complaint amongst me and my girlfriends in the dating scene - texting/social media engagement. For girls, especially early on when we're seeing someone, we read that as an indicator of interest. But sometimes it's lacking from the beginning while the guy is great and attentive in person, other times it starts off great then as you date the guy longer it starts to fade to every few day texts/snaps/etc instead of every day, other times it's non-existant and stays that way until the girl goes crazy and either ruins it with the guy or moves on to someone else.

In any case, girls read into this A LOT. Always. Everything from the times of day texts are sent, the emojis used or not used, the length of sentences, if you've been on social media and not texted us back, and... especially... the amount of time it takes you to respond, is analyzed on our ends.

So I'm curious what your guys' take on this is? Do you even give it a second thought?

A guy friend of mine and I were texting, and then towards the end of the conversation, he said, "Have a good night 😊"

Do guys often text text girls goodnight or even say it when having casual conversation? For me, that's kinda weird to say unless we're really close bc it's like something only I say to my family.

He's probably about six years older than me- I'm a senior in high school and I think he's in grad school. Would it creep him out if I was flirty? Is it even worth doing? What's the risk and what's the benefit? Also- please include as a comment if you imagine he ever thinks of me in the same way I think of him.

*Keep in mind-
- This isn't an in-school tutor or one who lives nearby, it's one I pay to go to
- I kind of DO need him as a tutor because he's a good teacher and I'd fail my AP class without him
- I'm - by most standards, I think - pretty... So it's not like Honey Boo-Boo's mom in teenage form is flirting with him.

And looking at her pics? And making fake accounts just to stalk her

... When you are married with a pregnant wife, why would you do this?

He went to send me a screenshot of a convo, ended up getting a dick pic. He was extremely embarrassed and apologising. Pleading with me not to show anyone.
He said the photo wasn't even in his album and wasn't sure how it sent... so he must have taken it right then and there right?

I've been in 3 failed long term relationships. In the 1st one he was always trying to make me feel less attractive and smart than I actually am, while obsessing about me and being jealous of everyone. In the 2nd he just lived on my income and lied about his income (while saving a lot of money). 3rd and last one he didn't want to make any sacrifice for me... I got him his current job through my boss (my boss didn't want to loose me); I'm changing jobs (other country) and new employer also offered to help him find a job; reply "I don't need your help!". A wise woman told me that all of this happened because I am successful and too intelligent, and man can't handle women that are more successful than them. Is that true?
