I've went on 1 date with this guy
And he would look at ALL my stories everyday
And sometimes he would reply to it

E. g. I posted that I like to go shopping in my spare time (and I post them on my stories)
And he replied "yep thats true about u"

Men, I have a question for you (and ladies can join in too.) How do you feel when walking outside, mostly at night, that some people see you as a potential threat/danger? I'm not saying all men are a threat, but men do commit the majority of violent crimes, so there is always a small inherent risk with strangers.

I go for walks a lot at night. I always have. I did a lot of research on wireless ear phones recently, and I specifically chose some that are not noise-cancelling. I really don't like that feeling of sound isolation. It's very muffling and I really like to hear my environment around me.

Many guys seem to give a wide berth, or walk on the opposite side of the street or pathway when they see someone approaching. Probably for two Reasons. 1. Out of courtesy, like 'Hey, I'm not a threat to you', and 2. They prefer avoiding other people so they don't have to acknowledge them. (This happens more in densely populated cities than in rural areas. I've lived in both. There's less anonymity and more accountability with neighbours in smaller towns, but not cities. You get so little true alone time and privacy when you're out, people tend to want at least somewhat of a bubble around them when they're walking. Part of that is avoiding eye contact.)

But how do you feel about being considered a low-grade potential threat by some? Does it bother you?
Is it dependent on your size?
How do you feel, yourself, when other men are on your same pathway in the dark?

The straightforward “fuckboy” tells you right away he is not interested in having a relationship but he wants to be friends with benefits. Sometimes he ask you out on dates, sometimes he comes over for sex. He even enjoys talking on the phone with you for hours (nothing about sex either). He is a good looking guy. High possibility that he is seeing other women.

The so called nice guy:
”good morning beautiful” text messages
Buy you gifts
takes you out on dates all the time even after sex
swears he is seeing no one else
when you ask him if you guys are in a relationship, he says yes.
When you ask to meet his family, he gives excuses (This is after years of being together)
Emotionally unavailable
tells you he does not love you but maybe he will someday (This is after years of being together)

Do not say neither. If you HAD to choose. Even if it’s gonna be “I see myself with this one but just for a fling” guys feel free to analyze too lol

So basically I'm in a high school band and every day after we have a game we go out to a restaurant. This game I was allowed to stay out and go. So I sat at a table with my friends (including my crush and his friend, who I somewhat know) and my crush asked if I wanted to switch spots with him I said sure but his friend who was sitting next to me pulled me back and said don't switch. I was confused but thought nothing of it. With my closer friends I started to do the hand thing (measure your hand with someone else's) because I'm quite short and they are taller than me so why not. Whatever, we get done doing that with my two friends then I do it to my crush's friend's hand, then to my crush's hand. Not surprisingly I had the smallest or as they called it "baby hands" And then proceeded to call me shortie throughout the night. So we get out food and then my crush's friend started to make jokes around the waiter so I slapped him and then he started to poke me. On the side of my arm, then up onto my face? I didn't do anything because I know he just wanted a reaction out of me. That night the friend also payed for my meal because like an idiot I forgot my money.

This guy and I met yesterday on reddit, he was the one who texted me first.

We talked a bit and he was a bit flirty. I would say 'Stop flirting'. And he would ask 'This is flirting?'

We talked a bit about us, what we study and what we plan for the future job.

He wanted to talk to me on some other social media but I said no.

Today, we talked a bit more and he again insisted to talk on another social media.

So we talked a bit on snapchat and I was telling him about my female best friend, I was praising her.

He started joking around how girls being gay are hot and I should marry my best friend if I like her a lot.

I told him I am not gay, most people are straight and if most people were gay, there would be very few children.

He started saying 'oh naughty girl, now you are talking dirty.'

I said sorry (and he said, why are you saying sorry, it is nice!) and told him that I didn't want him to get attracted to me.

He asked, Why not?
I said we just met yesterday, I don't know you well and I just want a male friend.

He said :
Okay then, I don't need you.
Bye bye.

He has not messaged me after that lol.

So my friends with benefits of almost 3 years always promised me he would get me something for my birthday like clothes a dress, maybe a nice crop top as a gift for my birthday. I always told him that we are not dating you don't have to buy me stuff like this and he would say he is still going to get it whether I say no. So today was the day he bought the gift. He even texted me asking me what my size was and he said if you don't like it you can change it too. I asked him to let me see but he didn't wanna lol I don't know I feel so freaking weird as to why he wants to do something like this. And he asked me :'What do you crave when you on your period?' so I said :'Mostly sweet stuff' and he asked what's my favourite chocolate. What does this mean? We not dating but he told me he wanna show me that he is supportive to and it's not just about sex. I'm stunned, I'm shocked, excited, I feel a bit nervous to see him again if we ever have an encounter again. I'm nervous for it., What does it mean?

Last night he promised that he’d spend in time with me and instead he called a girl and fell asleep on the phone with her and when I started asking questions and telling him how I felt he said that it didn’t matter so I asked him to put me on his Instagram bio and he said that he didn’t know and started leaving me on delivered and avoiding me. I don’t know what to do. Please give me advice on what to do and why he may be acting that way... thank you guys

So I've met this guy 4-5 months ago and since begining acts different than other guys in our group of friends. He had problem talking to me, he was staring at me a lot and smiling, when I would ignore him standing next to me he would become mean and stuff.. and always was near me wherever i stand. Last 3-4 weeks he's been really distant in person.. he would smile anymore, won't stand near me and other stuff he did, but he always wants to help me. We have group chat with two more guys, and my guy friend said that him and I text almost always in there. We tease eah other, he compliments me and we sand each other hearts sometimes (most are between us).

So few days ago he called me on app and me and my friend didn't answer and he said that we should give him our numbers and i sand it to him in private box. After two hours he texted me and I tried to continue conversation but it died quickly (I have his number for month and he has mine but he acted like he forgot about it and he sent me text). He stopped to talked on wapp and answer to my text on group chat from few hours ago and i ignored it. I ignored him for 3 days and today I tagged his friend and asked him something and this guy answered in second for friend, and he did it twice.. and he wasn't even online when i sent message in group chat.

I don't know what's whit this guy. I think he might be like me but im not sure. Two weeks ago we were for 5 minutes alone first time and he was so quiet until his friend came and i don't know why.
He's nice guy, but I don't know why he won't talk to me in private box or when we are alone. He's really sometimes weird. What should I do?

Our class is female only and he was explaining the differences between men and women.

I've met this guy three months ago and we hang with few more friends 1-2 times a week sometimes. At first he tried to get my attention and he would be kinda mean torwards me if I would "ignore" him. We would stare and smile at each other, but when we would be close to each other it was really awkward. I added him than his friend on fb after some time and they both accepted. After some time I followed him on ig and he ignored. Next day I was walking and saw them and they saw me and ignored both (on purpose i think). Next day I send text to his friend like why they did it and they were so sorry and stuff. After that he was different. He suddenly started to stand really close to me, always offer help and be more engaged to talk to me. Few days ago I did something for him and his friend and they didn't expected that and yesterday when we were hanging he offered that to do for me out of blue. Now we have each other numbers, following each other on ig and fb but only talk on group chat.

He's great guy and but I'm not sure if he's really interested. We've never alone and we don't text. I don't want to make it awkward in group if he doesn't like me that way.

How to make it subtle to him that he can figure it out? I know guys are bad at figuring signs and analyzing stuff..

We had a fight Friday and I said something wrong and have been trying to apologize ever since. He just ignored me. I tried apologizing. Finally today he messaged saying you need to stop with the apologies. I asked if he wanted it to end then could we at least end on good terms. He said let it go. I asked him to please talk. He said nothing to talk about. I asked if he really wanted to end things over a stupid statement that was made. I would respect his decision if that’s what he wants but that’s not what I want. He said when he is ready to talk he will text me. So I said okay.

Just curious. I know that I would never check another guy out. It hasn’t happend to me but I think I would be sad if it did
