My male teacher said:

Men are physically stronger, they have bigger brains, they are more intelligent, they are more logical and they are mentally stronger.

Compared to us, women are physically weaker, have smaller brains, more men are highly intelligent compared to women, women think with heart, women are very emotional, we men don't get scared easily but women are such weaklings - many are scared of lizards. Men have higher pain tolerance unlike women. Women also have periods and pregnancy, making them more dependant on men. So, men are superior to women.

Our class is female only and he was explaining the differences between men and women.

It terms of biologically/physiologically then yes, men can gain more muscles faster and stronger than women. However, Women have a higher pain tolerance. An example would be... that women can tolerate the pain of birth while men can't. I think cramps from periods may also play a part in terms of pain tolerance. I do not intend to offend any women however this comes down to biology.

This is just a study of the top performers in the Olympics. So take it with a grain of rice as Women can be stronger than the average man if they worked on it. I am not that strong and I don't really care to... gain muscle. I know women that can out run, out lift, out jump, and out swim me. So the Argument here is if you are a female athlete or someone that works out daily then you will probably be better off than most men that do not work out.

And as for Mentally in terms of knowledge/intelligence/wisdom/ etc. Then equal. I think that comes down to what kids grow up doing such as play games that help build any one of those intelligence or creativity. So if you play Card games or Chess you build more strategic skills. If you read books and analyze the content and the broader message or character you can start to see their philosophical point of view. The problem we face here is critical thinking that anyone can do however it is hard to practice when we are told to only think one way. The fact of life that it is not black and white. It is a whole lot of gray that we make sense of ourselves. I like to listen to the full story and listen to others to see their points of view. If I can make sense of them and point out each pros and cons of each. I can find better meaning in life to understand both. No one view is right. Which is why the internet is just a chaotic place as we agree and disagree with each other all of the time. We all come from different walks of life and I want to know more about their upbringing as it shows how their views were shaped.

While understanding the difference is valuable, I believe we need to examine what we have in common. These differences aren't the end all be all. I question what brings us (men and women together). Right now we are questioning what is love today? What was love 100 years ago? Is love a real thing? or is it all Lust? to allow us to mate and birth and repeat such a cycle?

Men have more logical intelligence, women have more emotional/social intelligence. The male and female brain are organized differently with different functions and purposes. Hormones control these differences and there are several brain changes men and women can experience through their lifetime to make them think differently (varying degrees of emotion and logic) and people can experience this in varying degrees. The general trend still holds however.

They're designed to be. But they tend to build up pent up stress whereas women are much better at releasing stress. Men also have something similar to the rollercoaster of emotions women feel during their cycle but men are better at handling those emotions.

Women actually have a higher pain tolerance but as said prior, men can mentally handle the pain better.

I disagree with his opinion. men and women come in all different shapes an sizes, so take a women who is 6ft 2 and is a body builder or wrestler, will be much stronger than a guy who is 4 ft 11 and works at a gas station. that's a big of an exaggeration that example but you get my point. as for mentally stronger i disagree. there have been plenty of examples shown, especially during the war, were many womens husbands had died and they had to get up the next morning, wipe the tears and go to work to stay a float. there is the saying, 1 great man is greater than a women bUT 1 great women is greater than 10 great men. queen Elizabeth 1 is a great example of a mentally strong women, jackie kennedy is another one. and there are men who are also strong mentally, but its extremely unfair to say there stronger because its just not so. in fact a lot of great men, had great wives backing and guiding them. winston Churchill for example, could've have done what he did without his clementine supporting and guiding him. as for men having bigger brains, ok, but some men don't use them and its just empty space. the same thing can apply to women. its wether or not the person uses it to its potential. Ruth Ginsburg is a good example of a lady using her intellect. actually no, women have higher pain tolerance than men, and men have never experience a period or birth so of course your teacher would know. there's many single moms out there who ended up birthing there child by themselves and then further supporting that child, show me the dependence on the man there. as for scared for lizards, everyone has fears, i know guys who freak out over cockroaches. its unfair the argument he's making.

Men are physically stronger because of biology that doesn't mean necessarily that all men are stronger than all women... and intelligence the person with the highest IQ in history was a woman with an IQ of 220 I believe, men do have better brains but again brain size has no direct correlation to intelligence so your teacher sounds a little bias

Plus, men having bigger brains make sense anyway considering men are physically bigger. Compensating for the proportional size difference, male and female brains are pretty equal in size, even if the general brain structure often differ.

Everyone is different no matter the gender. What I believe (in general) is that men are usually physically stronger yes (but I'm sure there could be some women that are compared to some guys, there are some pretty strong women out there). As far as mentally goes, in general, I believe men are more logical thinkers, were women are more emotional usually. But again, it can go both ways sometimes. So if by "mentally stronger" he means logically, then yes I'd agree. But a woman could be mentally "smarter" in other areas. And there's some guys that get scared easily and low pain tolerance as well. And does he mean physically "bigger brains"? lol I don't know about that?

most men are physically stronger than most women. Most women are more emotionally intelligent than most men. This can't be blanketed. there is always individualism that will defy any blanketed statements you can make about anyone. I was raised by a single mom who was a body builder in her 20s and still lifts to this day. I can confidently say as a 21 year old who exercises regularly and has begun lifting weights, she could kick my ass up and down the street. I am generally smarter than her in some areas, but not even that is wholly true, and I still don't attribute that to her being a woman, more of just who she is as a person. I am better at using logic and reason, and finding logical fallacies in things, but she is more intelligent in a lot of areas of life just because she has had more life experience. women aren't smarter than men, men aren't inherently stronger than women. It's an individual thing.

I have a 140 IQ (z = 2.667), I have abilities but I don't possess all abilities. IQ measures 4 aspects of the human mind, it is equivalent with Neuro development. However, there are more than 4 aspects of the human mind. The other aspects don't have written test (or at least valid ones), but have importance. Invariably life is the test. Success rates plateau around 130 IQ (z = 2) for IQ alone. The part of the brain that regulates emotions tends to be less developed for those on the higher end of the IQ scale. There are women stronger, taller, faster, and smarter than me, but statistically that is very rare. The point is no one has all abilities and people would do better to play to their strengths than compare. Women do complete men, but it takes trust and respect from both.

Obviously men are on average more physically capable than women.

But mentally I think men and women each have different strengths. It's not really that one is stronger than the other it's just that their strengths differ. Men have strengths that women don't and women have strengths that men don't. Their brains are wired differently.

He is not saying men are superior to women. He is saying there are biological and physiological differences between men and women. It is an inescapable reality. Some women are more highly logical while some men are more highly emotional. There are always those outliers. Your take away should be nothing more than women are different to men is all. According to what I can find:
Physically: The avarage man is about 10 % bigger than the avarage women, and has around 25-30 % the muscle mass as the avarage woman does (without any workout).
Mentally: Men have a higher pain tolerance compared to women, but women have higher pain endurance. That goes for both physical as well as emotional pain.
