Let's say your house is robbed. The bad guy has a gun to your girlfriend's head and says you can go but he'll have his way with your girlfriend. Would you leave or fight the guy?

No matter what the guy with the gun says he shoot anyway. So I would be damned if I didn't try to protect some one I love from being raped and maybe killed.
How I would attack him would depend on the surroundings. The gun man might be shocked if a unarmed man tries to tackle him. Hopefully once I do that the girl would have the courage to fight back also.
Owning a gun for self protection is no guarantied of a positive outcome but it could help.

I would NEVER leave her!! I would stay, and offer to take her place.
If not, I would talk, and chatter, a lot, and confuse that one, until the time was right, and I could get between them, and try to subdue him and take the gun, or, in the worst case, take the bullet, to protect her!
I never want to ever be in that place, or to have to be in a place when I have to take a life, to protect my own, or those I care about!
If your boyfriend dont help to save you , is he really your boyfriend.

Gun at her head wins because you can't beat his trigger finger. If he was pointing it at you, maybe a different story. It also depends on what your situation is. Do you carry concealed? Some guys do, regularly. Then I'd say, "Don't hurt her too much." And as I turned to leave, I'd wave at her, drawing his attention to my up-stretched hand while my other one retrieved my small carry weapon from it's holster. And I would continue to turn, bringing up my pistol and shooting.
Does it save the day? Who knows. Maybe I hit my girlfriend. Maybe I miss them both. Maybe he still shoots her. Or maybe it all works, I put a small 32 caliber hole between his eyes and my girlfriend faints, only to never forgive me after she wakes up. That guy's getting attacked, and heaven help him if he's not a great shot, because if he doesn't kill me quickly, he's going to regret the very fact of his birth.

Not that I would ever rob a house of rape somebody at gunpoint, but if I did and I was telling the boyfriend “OK you can leave, but I’m gonna rape your girlfriend “and then the guy did not leave, I would shoot him in the head three times and then rape his girlfriend. So congratulations hero, your dead now and your girlfriend is raped. This fantasy you have from watching too many action movies that unarmed you would “somehow” fight somebody with a gun is laughable.

The problem is if he got a gun on her head and the men interact he will kill the men or shoot the women then the men. So better leave. Every act of playing the hero will not be good in tjat moment and if the guy intercts and get killed he obviously can't rescue the girl.

Well let us calculate the motives of such a man. Why would he let me go allowing me to inform the police that he is going to rape my girlfriend? Obviously he is afraid of the alert the gunshot would bring. He could of course try to tie me up, clearly he is not very experienced at this. Hopefully I would figure this out in such a stressful situation and call him out, telling him if he leaves now that will be the end of the matter.

A + B. I'd pretend to run away, but then sneak up behind him and knock him out when he thinks I'm gone. IF that's not an option, then I guess I'd try to reason with the guy and/or bum-rush him and hope his aim isn't good.
