Nothing wrong with carrying concealed, I lived in the US for 10 years, carried concealed for 9 of them when it became clear that the police would not be there when needed, and contrary to what one political party would have you believe hand guns and rifles are not ‘weapons of war’ alone, they have other purposes, a couple are feeding your family and controlling vermin, which in some cases they are the same thing.

They are for defence when someone is trying to kill you whether you are going about you lawful business or in your home.

When you carry concealed you do not go out looking for trouble, there are many who carry concealed who have resolve problems without violence because they know that if they have to use violence (with or without the hand gun) they will be held to a higher standard by Society and the Courts because they carry concealed.

When you gain a few years you’ll realise that this like many things is not black and white but shades of grey.

The vast majority of those who carry concealed invest a lot of time and money in training, in most cases more that many Police Departments do, to become proficient in the use of what they carry , so in that when they need to use it it will be in a controlled manner.

If someone pulls a gun at you and you think pulling your gun is gonna save someone the shooter wasn't gonna shoot anyway, or the result is they are quicker. I don't know, I personally think the desire to carry a gun is a relic of tribalism. In many cultures traditionally to carry a weapon was synomous with being a free born male member of the society.
